Visa-Free 30 days

Last Updated: November 22, 2024, source Foreign Ministery.
The Foreign Ministery added nine countries that allowed to enter China without a visa from November 30, 2024.
In addition, China has decided to optimize its entry policy simultaneously, in exchange visits as the reason for visa-free stay, and extend the visa-free stay period from the current 15 days to 30 days.

Are you travelling to China before December 31, 2025, holders of ordinary passports from the following 38 countries, you may enter China Visa-Free for 30 days.
By entering China you will get a stamp with date in your passport, that is day no. 1 of your Visa-Free days. Remember you must leave the country before midnight on the 30th day of your stay. Also realize that it is not the arrival or departure time of your flight that matters, but the time you pass through customs and the date is put in your passport.
Under this policie extending of your stay is not possible, but it is allowed to use this possibility multiple times. So, crossing a border e.g. Hong Kong, Vietnam or Laos you can enter China again Visa-Free.
